I'm not sure if it's related but I saw something on the Firefox Portables forums about auto updating portable will overwrite local Firefox's registry settings.

Anyway, my problem is pictured below. I've tried to remove it and add Firefox again but it returns as is and clicking on it brings up the open with menu.

    Any ideas?
ADDed: I can get IE to take it place and work but not Firefox

Did this always happen? When did you start getting this problem?

I'm not sure, I just noticed it. I was fooling with my USB trying to get ThunderbirdPortable to send AOL mail and browsing on the Portable Apps forum for an answer when I noticed the thing about Firefox. Could be unrelated.

No big deal really I never use those short cuts for mail or a browser but it's nice to know what's going on. Everything else seems to be working fine.

Ha, I fix it by reinstalling Firefox. Took 1 minute and have all my same stuff.

I probably would have but since I have back up imagining software (need to do one now!) and reading a tweak guide I shut it off.
