Hey everyone. I just bought a low end dell inspiron 1545. It's been great except the keyboard is doing some weird stuff. It's acting like the control button is stuck down, but not all the time.
I made sure the sticky keys were turned off, and that the shortcut to turn them on (shift 5 times) was also turned off. But my computer still randomly opens windows, selects all text, and underlines stuff when I'm typing. A lot of times I won't even touch the control button and it will happen. It's very sporadic though.
For example, I can just type a bunch of nonsense in word, and then suddenly when I hit the R button, the text right justifies, and then I'll type L and it goes back to left, and then I'll type some more and R and L show up as text and don't effect the justification. The computer is brand new, and I'm hoping the free upgrade to windows 7 will fix the problem, but that's not happening for a while.

Sometimes my keyboard does this. So what I do is I press Left Ctrl, Left Alt, Right Control, Right Alt, and the keys are reset.
