Here are some questions i need help with

    1. I have a Laptop Hp Pavilion Dv6000 and i want to upgraded the ram but not sure how to find out, what other things can i upgrade??? video card???

    2. I want to reformat my laptop from Vista to Windows Professional, but i am worried about things like when i bought the laptop it was preinstalled with window vista and other software, and that the Hp recovery is in the hard drive.

So i am wondering what i can do once i reformated it and install windows pro, where can i get all the drives and software like hp updates and such

also when i go to the software and Driver download for my laptop

i clicked on Windows Xp and it doesn't have any download for the the graphic card but when i go to windows vista there is the download for the graphic card.

    1) RAM, HDD are upgradeable. CPU is difficult, and the GPU is impossible.
    2) Why would you want to keep bloated software. Make a copy of the C:/SwSetup folder and you'll still have everything. Plus, make the backup disks so if you ever go back to Vista you can.
    3) Good luck with drivers, many should be available. See the GPU Guide to get video drivers for your computer.
