Okay so heres my issue. My friend installed windows XP for me, and when I started up my computer it logged me in as adminstrator. I thought "I want it to say my name when I log in...so I guess I made a new account called Chris/Administrator. Now when I restart my computer it boots up under the administrator with all default settings. Then I have to log off and sign back in under Chris (the only option available). This is annoying. So my question is, is there a way to make it default boot up to the Chris account? When im logged in as "chris" and go under user accounts I only see Chris/administrator. Thanks for any help

Ya know, you could have just gone into the Administrator account and selected "Change my name". ;)

Anyway. Click Start, Run and type "CONTROL USERPASSWORDS2", and click OK. Select the user account from the list (the account to which you want to automatically logon). Uncheck "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer" option, and click OK. Type the user account password and complete the process.
