    Hard Drive Encryption Windows 2000! TyruCrypt Help

    I am trying to encrypt my entire hard drive and system files using TrueCrypt on Windows 2000. But every time I select "Encrypt the system partition or entire drive" I receive an error telling me my operating system is not supported. But the version I downloaded is the latest and the website says it support 2000, XP and Vista. I have 2000.

    Does anyone have any ideas or recommendations on another program?

    Have you run Windows update and updated to Service Pack 4 or something?

    yup found out TrueCrypt does not support System File Encryption for Windows 2000. Only on XP and Vista. Do you know of any other programs?

    Does anyone know any program preferably free that supports Windows 2000 entire system encryption?

    TrueCrypt does not support system file encryption on Windows 2000.
