I just installed the latest (not Beta) HWInfo64 on my computer and noticed that my computer freezes up every 10 or 20 seconds, for about 1-2 seconds, while HWInfo is running.

    1. Is this normal?
    2. Is there a better always-monitoring software that I can use that won't lag my system? I like being able to see all that information occasionally, as well as having the tray icon with only CPU, GPU, and HDD temps.

    Thanks :)

I use HWInfo64 and haven't had any freezing issues, although it can take up a good amount of ram at times (~250mb). Try HWMonitor. It won't report as much information as HWInfo, but it should read enough sensors to keep you satisfied.
