I recently installed software for a HP printer and a lot of applications got installed on my Laptop. Most of them seen useless, but I'm not sure if I can delete them and still scan/copy/fax with my PC.

The printer is a HP OfficeJet J4500

    Software:
    • HP Customer Experience Enhancements
    • HP Doc Viewer
    • HP Document Manager 1.0
    • HP Easy Setup - Frontend
    • HP Imaging Device Functions 10.0
    • HP OfficeJet J4500 Series
    • HP Smart Web Printing
    • HP Solution Center 10.0
    • HP Update
    • HP User Guides 0088

NOTE: My Laptop is a HP Pavilion dv 9700 so some software could be pre installed.

I would uninstall them all and see if the printer drivers stayed around. You can always reinstall. Generally, printer drivers do not show up in Add/Remove Programs. A combo device, with FAX, might want that one with the model number to stay, though.

Some of them could also be pre installed since I have a HP laptop. So I don't wanna mess that up.

I have a HP laptop and not 1 HP program. You don't need ANY. All bloatware, imo.

Not even Quickplay? I usually don't buy Blu-Ray, but QP is the only program that can play those. Or am I wrong?

Yes, even quickplay. My laptop doesn't have a blu-ray drive but quickplay isn't the only blu ray player...

Are they taking too much disk space? If not just leave them and use the printer for a while and see. Then check back again on these apps to see when was the last time they have been accessed. Then remove them from there.

    cheers ...

On a new and bloated HP notebook pretty much any of the HP bloatware you uninstall can easily be reinstalled from C:\SWSETUP.

I would get rid of all of it, and if there are any problems you can always re-install. There's a lot of useless bloat that's pre-loaded on systems.
