is there a way around to getting hp quickplay to work on a non hp system? if not, is there a similar program anyone can recommend?

the reason i like quickplay is that i like the settings menu, which had templates for preferences of how you like to view and hear the dvd. im not looking for anything to technical here, quickplay did the job for me.

i enjoyed hps media idea, with the express card remote and keyboard hot keys. i recently picked up a gateway p6860fx, and im trying to get a similar setup going.
