    HDMI to an LCD TV refresh low

    On my toshiba tv it's not letting me use it like i should with windows 7 for some reason. It's only allowing me to do 30Hz for the refresh rate i believe this is b/c it's go the 30hz interlaced so i guess 7 doesn't do 1080i at anything above 30Hz i looked up my model number and such and it tells me it should be able to do 60Hz at 1080i.

    Does anyone know why 7's doing this? Also i'm using it through hdmi from laptop to lcd.

    What's the model number of your TV and your graphics card?

    Also, what options did you have in Windows Vista or XP?

    uhm in xp/vista no clue. Didn't really think to check. Just saw something about increasing the refresh to fix the weird looknig screen on the net and was like hmm. Let's see what it says.
