I have an Acer laptop with:

    Windows Vista Ultimate SP1 x86
    3 GB RAM
    Intel T5750 C2D 2 GHz, 667 MHz FSB, 2 MB L2
nVidia GeForce 9500M GS w/512 MB ded., 1.8 GB shared
    GOM Player
    Resolution: 1366x768

I have some movies in 1080p which I can play but occasionally it lags and the audio/video are off. My 720p movies play perfectly. My laptop says full HD 1080 playback on it, does this mean on an external monitor/TV only?
