Anybody else get this? Taken from Firefox in Ubuntu 10.10. Mainly the top is more streamlined:

It looks exactly like what I've been getting for some time now... unless I'm missing something.

Oh I see. Well I can't explain it then, sorry. :( I don't know why it's happening to you.

I don't see it either. But looking at that Gear wheel at the top left corner, it may be the case that you have Google Gears installed?

I still see this... not like the first post.

But I did read somewhere yesterday (I don't remember if it was in the google blog or some tech blog site) that some visual enhancements / facelift (or whatever you like to call it) are coming our way from google.. Let me see if I can fish out that article...

    Cheers

I still get the old design in FF4 Beta 7 - on that note though... -> redesign generally means more bandwidth needed...

(What's wrong with plain old HTML :D)

What's wrong with plain old HTML? lol... the internet would be pretty crappy if we were limited to html, even html5... imagine having no javascript or CSS... bleh

To be honest, I could live without Javascript and CSS - I guess a lack of JavaScript would kill off things like forums.... but all these "bell and whistle" sites just get on my nerves.

Everything animated, video... slideshows... gah.... yes, sometimes they can be nice, and they can be used to tidy things up but in most cases they are used to "show off".
