Okay peeps. I feel like a righteous idiot for asking this, but I want to be able to use skype with my microphones running through a signal chain to a TASCAM US-1641. Skype lists the device as an option, but it doesn't pick up audio from the chain. I was wondering if anyone had any insight?

Would it have anything to do with the drivers? I'm using ASIO4ALL.

Have you tried going into the audio properties and selecting what kind of device it uses for the audio output.

I've checked, and I doubt it. I use Cubase to actually record audio through the same chain, and I run into no issues.

I just wish I could use all this gear for something utilitarian, like Skype. :p
