    I checked out the vista compatibility list for games. If a games is listed as a 32 bit game, does that mean it will not work in the 64 bit version? And if I had the 64 bit version is it easy to switch to the 32 bit version in order to play the game?

    The compatibility list means it was tested and works. It might work in 64bit too but was not tested.
    Switching to 32bit would require you to reinstall windows.
    Games run slower in 64bit because the drivers are worse and i also read that DirectX doesnt work so great in 64bit. Just stick with 32bit there are no advantiges with 64.
