I just wanted to mess around with my AW, and install Windows 8 Developer's Preview, and if I didn't like it I always have the media install disc for Windows 7. But a fun question, and please don't flame, but does anyone actually use the Windows 8 Developer's Preview as their main OS?

I have no issues using less than stable software but sadly Windows 8 Dev preview dident support some of the games i was playing and my SSD is not big enought for a proper dual boot setup.

So i went back to Windows 7, but my time using Windows 8 was pleasant. :D

What games weren't supported on Windows 8? Hopefully I can still use my PS2 emu on there :)

I probably won't even use Windows 8, except for my tablet. Windows 7 does everything I need it to, for now at least.

Windows 8 on VMWare 8 works great, especially with 8GB of RAM.

Yes, I used the Windows 8 as my main OS. I didn't know what I was thinking @ the moment and I didn't get a recovery DVD from Alienware, so it was a bad week for me. Windows 8 was pretty nice, and it booted faaast. I loved it, but i'd wait for the release, or on a different partition, not as your OS.

I am. The one and only issue I've run into is that Windows Live login assistant won't run.
