Does anyone use a good editor. I use NVU but would like one with better features?

I use a few editors for all my needs, Gvim, cygwin, and crimson editor, the best are the latter two. Crimson editor has custom highlighted, FTP access, multiple tab support and is just so small, it is one of the best text editors I have used. Cygwin is used when I want to code in C/C++ and java, Gvim is when I want to view code quickly, as it is in the context menu, something that crimsom editor supports, but there seems to be a few problems with it as it doesn't appear in the menu all the time, but everything else I use Crimson editor, but if you are looking for something that doesn't require any installation and acts almost like Crimson Editor, such as if you can to put it on a flash drive I would use something called Tinn.
