    Doesn't work for me...

    Putting "telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl" without the "" into the run box gives me an error.

    You know, that's not "in your computer." When you telnet, your connecting to a different machine, who know's what's on there!

    It's very suspicious to post a command like that. Hope no one really tries it, as you never know what worms will make there way in. And it's definitely not in your computer as booboo12 says, since with that command your essentially remoting into some unknown server.

    I know that "blinkenlights" was a project in which windows in a large building were illuminated over night to show emoticons/signs/films lately...

    (It was in a German newspaper I think)

    No need for worries here.
    Blinkenlights.nl is a project/ISP from a dutch guy ( Sten Spans) who desribes himself as follows;
    " I'm a whacked Dutch Hardware Geek, tinkering with stuff in ISP Land. Breaking and fixing stuff at about the same rate. With megalomane plans centering around 19" Racks and Power Plants."

    There are a few other telnet commands listed on this page.
    Cheers.

    Telnet is used to control a remote machine.
