Personally I just recommend making your own flashcards :p

I just finished my second week of japanese and I already have all the hirigana, long vowels, and double consonants memorized.

wow that's great! and fast. My memory is too little in studying japanese language. It's too difficult! And I barely memorize even the easiest one.

    This is all i know:
"otsukare sama desu" ... after work
    "Itadaki masu" ... before eating
"Domo Arigatou gozaimasu" ... My Deep Appreciation/Thanks

    Watashi wa Lawrence desu.

To supplement your learning, try to watch japanese Anime/Movies as well. It will definitely help you out.

Sorry about that I had posted the day before and didnt remember the actual time, and also, I am taking a class

I did use google, but by software I meant something more...interactive like "rosetta stone", but for free, not charts of hiragana; most the of the stuff online can be found in the of the books I have which is why im looking for something else to test me.

    flash cards are helpful *recommended
Last time instead of using flash cards, I created an app for my old
COMPAQ IPAQ. It really helps me memorize lots of hiragana, katakana and kanji.
it's a sort of software based flash card. Just Google for an equivalent app like that.

Anyway After a few weeks, I forgot them lol :D
