This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Found a great site to help with virus removal

    My hubby had a business aquintance stay at our home.
    He had a laptop with him that was a complete mess.
    I told him I would look at it.

    I found this site from someone who recommended it on the Symantec forum.

    It's FREE too.

    They helped me fix his laptop.
    It had 297 viruses on it!!!

    That site told me step by step what to do and I really can't believe that I fixed that laptop. I was very proud of myself.
    I did donate to their site, you don't have to, but I did because it would have cost a small fortune to have someone else try and fix it.

    Just thought I'd share the good find :)

    Check out the site and bookmark it.

    They also can help with Outlook, Microsoft Office, Security, IE, lots of things. It's a definite bookmark site!
