I just got my new laptop not even a month ago and I still haven't formatted the harddrive. I have a question before I do, my laptop has the ATI X700, if I format(I have XP Home rigth now) will the drives XP Pro be any different from the drivers now for my video card?

They should be the same drivers. The only thing Windows XP Pro has is more advanced options for networking etc. You should be able to redownload all of the same drivers that you have. :D

USAF is correct, XP Pro just has some extra functionality that XP Home doesn't have, namely remote desktop and some added security freatures. Generally when you download drivers, you download for the OS. Ex. XP, 2000, ME, 98, so on, not for the specific version of each of the OS, Pro vs. Home. Your drivers will be fine.
