This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Flash won't work on IE7

    macromedia Flash does not work after i installed IE7 (it works fine on FireFox)... after i install and install and re-install Flash, it does nothing

    any ideas? any registry tweaks? any microsoft kb?

    If you installed the latest Flash Player 9 it is known to have issues with both IE 6 and 7 Beta. Try uninstalling and installing the older version 8 instead and see if that fixes it.

    Why don't you get IE7 RC1 instead of the Betas? It's got most bugs fixed.

    This bug is present in all current versions of MS browsers. Firefox and Opera, by the way, are not affected.
