About 4 days ago my screen began going out after 1 minute. If I inadvertently changed something I don't know what it is.

There's been no new updates or install that would alter it. I already tried Choose when display turns off and its still set to 10 minutes.

I can always just tap the space key, but its annoying to have to keep doing that when I'm reading. How do I return this to default?

What OS? What hardware? Is it the M6700? Or your M3800? Obvious candidates are Power Options in the Control Panel, and Screen Saver in Personalization, but I assume you checked those two. Some OEMs have additional helpful [cough] little utilities installed that can do stuff like that, too. Another (unusual) place to check would be in options for your graphics card.

Thanks for the direction: Right click on the screen in W 8.1. Personalization > screen saver > blank -- Wait 1 minute. When I saw 1 minute, I recognized the connection. I changed it back to " none." :)
