adblock can block flash, but you have to tell it what to block.

Try to go to hardforum.com and block out the flash anime on top. What I meant is to block out flash anime, sorry if I confused you.

Adblock works on most but now some are running scripts. Then use noscript and that can control all.

Good suggestion. I'm running AdBlock, Flashblock and NoScript. I went to that hardforum.com and didn't see any Flash at all.

I use Adblock Plus and this entry blocks all Flash:

    *.swf

While this one allows Flash for URLs that contain one of the keywords in the list:

    /.(adobe|dell|ebay|google|macromedia|mozilla|nba|xbox|worldsbk|youtube).*\.swf/

The second line in my post counters the blocking of Flash for sites that contain one of the keywords in the list. I've done it this way and YouTube and Google Videos work fine. Alternatively you could go to YouTube's site, click the Adblock Plus icon and then select Disable on... to enable all of the site.
