    Did it come with FF when you installed 3.6 or just came out of nowhere?

    use password exporter addin to save you passwords (if any) and export bookmarks (bookmarks>organise>import and backup>export html) then uninstall firefox and profile and reboot.
    download latest firefox from mozilla and try again. if ok, import your bookmaks and passwords.
    and remember to video the crushing of evil the malware pirates......
