This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    A bit of an update, I went through the FF tweaks guide and found some really useful info. The streamline layout on page 6 is really cool and I implemented some of the other tweaks on page 10.

    After uninstalling using Revo Uninstaller advanced mode, I downloaded a fresh copy. I also created profile besides the default. Rather than having my profile reside in doc and setting, app data, I moved it to D drive as a default using this guide along with the rest of My Documents. See post 3 and 8. It's XP specific but may work with Vista.

    AutoFill
    Bugmenot
    ColorfulTabs
    Download Statusbar

    WOT

    I also backed up all FF settings, bookmarks and extensions using Mozbackup
