Hi I have a dv8000t, but I need to run Finl Cut Pro for a school that i am going to. I cannot get a Mac because i just bought this computer. I'm wondering if there is a way to emulate the Mac OS on windows XP or do something like bootcamp but instead putting the Mac OS on a windows machine. Or if you knwo any other way to run finl cut on a windows.

Nope, you are out of luck. Even if you could emulate OS X in some way, the performance hit would make Final Cut Pro unusable.

Unfortunately, it won't work. See if you're allowed to use a Final Cut Pro-similar program that runs on Windows.

won't work, but i'm quite sure that your school will have a lab with FCP running

I would just recommend using Adobe Premiere, basically the same software with some little differences.

you can get the same results with each.
