The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Fat32 transfer more then 4gb?

    I know you can't create more then 4GB at one time in a fat32 partition, but can you transfer a file larger then that to the partition?

    short: no.

    longer: something like winrar or winzip can create split archives, so you can split your file in several 4gb chunks (or smaller, just in case), and copy those over.

    for transfering and extracting to another pc, this may be acceptable.
