If you have a Seagate HD you can get Acronis TI packaged as DiscWizard for FREE.

I have an older version of Acronis. I used it one time to make a clone of XP in a dual boot configuration with Vista. It worked when I restored XP but the thing was it put XP in the C drive and wiped out Vista. Is there another version or similar software out there that restores a clone to the original drive or allows the user to restore to any drive? Thanks.

    Try SelfImage or DriveImage XML.
