    Hi,

I am hoping to find out if there is any way to create a fn+___ keyboard shortcut (or any shortcut) that can actively enable and disable the windows key. Is this even possible? I am still not great at Windows manipulation or programming.

    Thanks in advance

Why do you want to do this? Just curious as to what the purpose could be. You could always download a program that remaps any key on the keyboard to any other key you want. Also, why post this on the gaming board?

It would be possible to do with autohotkey, create a script that activates on key combo press that toggles the windows key to a null input.

I am not good enough with scripting to actually write it for you though.

I posted this on the gaming board because I am sure I am not the only gamer who wants a way to disable the Windows key while gaming. It is frustrating to reach for alt and hit windows, taking me out of the game and sometimes opening other programs (this usually happens while playing WoW).

Yeah, I found that, it is now pinned to my start menu but it requires a reboot.
