I don't know if I'm posting this is in the right place, but it seemed the most logical.

I have lenovo t61. I am trying to extend my laptop to my 46" 1080p lcd tv through a vga wire. I have the intel x3100. I can't get the correct resolution so that my desktop is showing on the entire LCD. I tried 1920 x 1080 but it seems a bit choppy.

Has anyone else had this problem and is there any solution?

46"! I had a hard time to fill my 23" Sun CRT alone. You might want to consult the manual of your lcd-tv and see if there is a tip in achieving what you want.

    cheers ...
