I recently merged 4 .ts files to form a 17gb movie file, but I seem to have trouble moving it. The file is currently stored on an external HD attached via esata and it gives me an error message when it's almost finished. I tried copying to both my notebook's internal drive and NAS, but all attempts failed. Does anyone know what might be causing this?

One of the drives is not formatted in FAT32 is it? If it is you'll have to convert to NTSC.

@kedu: NT FS not NTSC (NTSC is something totally different :p).

@hehe: Maybe you can try robocopy? It's a vista feature and it has helped me a couple of times. Command line can be intimidating, but you can find a frontend to it.

    Here we go!

(You can mouse over the options and you'll get a tooltip explaining what each of the options does).

    Good luck!

NTSC... lol. A very tired monday at work.

Anyhoos, if not fat32, this must be a file ownership issue. Right click on file - properties - security - advanced - user name - edit -and then tick full control and OK - this should work.
