Does anyone know of any freeware or shareware that would either allow me to edit pdf files or convert them to Word or something so then I could edit them? Thanks.

You can use the text select tool to copy and paste into Word. Would that be sufficient?

That could work, but it's 20 some pages and I'd have to do it for every page. The problem is that my professor wants us to print out all these pages to fill in the blanks during lecture, but it would be a lot easier if I could just type in and keep it all on the computer.

Not sure but it sounds like it does PDF to Text.

Since you're a student, you might be able to just buy the full version of Acrobat from your bookstore for a reasonable price. Worth looking in to.
