Ok, I was dual booting Vista and XP, both 32-bit earlier, using this guide.

Yesterday, I formatted my Vista partition (boot partition), split it into 2 100GB partitions, using one for dumping stuff, and on the other I installed Vista x64.

Now, is there any way to setup dual boot between Vista x64 and XP 32-bit..??

    - I am confused. I cannot repair XP, I can only reinstall it.
    - But if I reinstall XP, I won't be able to see Vista.
    - Then I would have to repair Vista's bootloader, and after that I will only be able to see Vista, not XP.
    - I can't edit anything in EasyBCD since it needs the NTLDR and NTDETECT.COM files to be on the boot partition, which I don't see in Vistax64.
    - I cannot reinstall Vistax64 now.
    - I need XP 32-bit due to compatiblity issues.

    OR

Is there any way in which I can probably make XP the boot partition with the NTLDR file on it. But the NTLDR would be 32-bit, so will Vista x64 be able to access it..??

Put/copy NTLDR, NTDETECT.com & boot.ini on the Vista and the XP partitions then setup dual boot with EasyBCD. Install EasyBCD on XP also and setup dual boot here. Change active partition (boot partition) to XP or Vista.

Tried it, Vista doesn't seem to boot then. XP loads fine, but when I load Vista, the screen shows some weird colours and crashes/restarts. I can't seem to find a 64-bit compatible NTLDR file....
