PSA: using Dragon Dictation on Windows 10 fall creators update makes Microsoft Edge unusable/very laggy/slow--launching Dragon Dictation creates the abnormal Microsoft Edge behavior; closing Dragon Dictation resolves this problem. This was not an issue with the Spring Creators Update--it began after the Fall Creators Update was installed. There are other users having this problem per some other forums. Hopefully Nuance/Microsoft issue a fix shortly.

I second the complaint. Easily repeatable. Without Dragon 15 Professional loaded, Microsoft Edge is blazing fast; however, once Dragon 15 is loaded, it becomes unusable with extreme latency. To demonstrate, keep clicking the "settings and more" ellipses in Edge and observe immediate menu show/hide, then continue while loading Dragon. Once loading is complete, menu action slows to an absolute crawl. Windows 10.0.16299 (Fall Creators) on ThinkPad P71 Xeon 64Gb memory, NVIDIA P5000 (i.e., not a system performance or resources issue).

Per a user in the KnowBrainer forums, this issue is fixed by Microsoft with Insider Preview build 17025 . . . hopefully this turns out to be the case---will just have to wait as I am not using any insider builds...
