I was downloading a big game patch (631MB) with IE, and my laptop battery just suddenly died because I forgot to plug in the charger and just left the laptop in my room. Is there a way to continue from where I left off?

Thats why I use a Download Manager. If browser messes up, I don't have to worry.

The website you were downloading from does it support resuming downloads (download managers)? If not then no browser or download manager can help you, you will have to start again. If it did support download resuming then using a download manager would help but it sounds like you were just using plain I.E so I am afraid you have to "bite the bullet" and start again :(

^Well, I guess www.gamershell.com doesn't allow resume downloading, because I tried to download with Bitcomet but it won't let me...

Yea, it doesn't support download resuming, but it's works with my download manager. This prevents your download being messed up by a browser crash.

This is what I use .......... Free Download Manager
