Just ordered a Dell Inspiron 2200. The wife wants to play some real old games on it that need DOS. So the plan is to have a dual boot WinXP Win98 with a DOS mode running out of Win98. Did this for her on my old laptop, but never got the sound working in DOS. Anyone know of some sound drivers I could try? The sound is from a Sigmatel STAC 975x AC97.

    Cheers

    MC

You can use Microsoft Virtual PC instead. It runs a virtual PC in your Windows XP. The virtual sound "hardware" for Virtual PC is Sound Blaster 16.
