    Display boxes, will they sell me one?

    for some unkown reason i feel like buying a retail Display only type of box so i can put my DR disks in... do you reckon i could ask a shop for one or even pay them for it? would MS allow this? would i be able to request one from MS?

    You need to talk to as many managers as you can. It may be tough though. Usually, those displays all come in one packag. ie the display, shelf, display boxes all come in one package.

    You may get someone willing though.

    yer, i only want two

    im not sure what you were waying exactly but they are all seperated here in aus, some stores i have seen have them randomly placed i.e. they hav odd numbers, not enough to fill a full shelf, too many for a shelf etc etc so it dosnt seem like they care how it looks...

    has anyone ever done something like this?

    most stores will give you one if you ask nicely.. i know someone with a couple win7 ones. he used them to make labels for his downloaded technet versions after scanning them. he got them from staples
