Hey NBR it's been a while.

I'm on a mission to maximize my netbook speed right now. I looked into the disk drives in the computer management device manager. I find it weird that my (C) drive is fully partitioned (4 partitions). Wouldn't my computer run faster if I have all of my data stored on one partition and defragged (with auslogics defrag)?

Here's a picture of my disk management screen:

I can't figure out exactly how to go about extending the drive. The "extend drive" option is grayed. I do know that the 30GB Lenovo (D) drive is used for backup driver storage and it's color coded as an extended partition. I might be able to copy the files off of that drive and then expand an extra 30Gb onto my drive, but that still leaves me with 15Gb on the unnamed partitions.

Could anyone explain what I'm missing here? I read a good amount of the help topics but couldn't figure it out.

PS: Any other non-basic tips for speeding up a netbook would be appreciated, as well as useful lightweight programs. Thanks NBR.
