I have these clear windows in my room, on the outside of the house, its got these nice oak ledges and very nice shutters attached to them. They're pretty much the best windows I've ever used. Never BSOD on me. It works well, almost like DreamScene is running 24/7

...PS, I second XP Pro is the best windows. It's so stable and fast.

Windows 98, you mean the one that frequently BSODed, its clock lost time the longer you left your computer on, and would grind to a halt if not rebooted daily. That Windows 98?

This really should be a poll. And two of the options should be Pella and Andersen.

I actually just replaced a ME computer for my mom's friend this past winter. They had been using it for about 8 years now. They were extremely amazed how fast the new computer went.

I second that! :D Well, actually, mainly just on the start-up times, which were blindingly fast, even on pokey slow hardware, compared to XP.

That leaves out everything from Win2K to Vista, as they are all NT releases (unless you mean the original NT server software)........

I liked 98 SE, but 2000 was a huge improvement in stability. XP has been OK, but everything since 98 has had more questionable "features" that I can't remove. (I hate IE, Media Center, and that useless IM app you can't uninstall...).
