    Install drivers?

Let me just rephrase what you said: "I deleted everything on my computer, and now there's nothing on my computer".

    I love this guy.

You sure it is completely empty and not just taking a little time to populate its list?

I installed all the drivers via HP's website, but I'm not a fan having device manager completely blank. Hardware isn't hidden, its non-existent according to the DM.

Also the registry editor gives me a "Access is denied" upon changing the Enum Permissions.

Is your "Plug and Play" service enabled? Apparently, that is required for the device manager to work properly.

I was going to mention that, but it should be enabled by default on a fresh installation. Unless the installation got messed up somehow.

The install is your normal Windows 7, and PnP is enabled. Guessing the only fix is reformatting again which will be whenever I can get a chance.

Have you changed any BIOS settings since the last installation of Windows? You may have something turned off there that really should be turned on. I seem to recall there's a PnP option in the BIOS too. If you've fudged around with any values you may want to restore the BIOS to the factory default settings for a quick possible fix.
