    Hi all,

I have tried figuring this out, but for the life of me I can't find anything to help me.

Everytime I start my notebook up, vista pops up this message telling me that Cyberlink Powercinema has stopped working. I have tried looking for updates, but I can't find anything.

    Please help me fix this!

Do you care about having this program or not?

Did Dell give you the disc?

You could uninstall it. (It's called "PowerDVD" on my uninstall program list.) If you want to use it you could reinstall it from the disk.

If you have Vista Premium I think you might be able to play DVDs using Media Center, so you may not need it. Not certain about that though. In any case there are other programs you could get to play DVDs.

Another option is to disable the startup program by running "msconfig" or from (Vista) Control Panel > Programs > Startup programs and disabling it. It might break the program though... but it should stop the messages about it.
