    Is it safe?

    Maybe it's uploading all your info to some online database and providing a bunch of warez users with fresh activation keys.

    Belarc is definitely safe. It is used by many major companies to quickly inventory PCs. You can save the scans as an HTML file.

    The result is more than just product keys, it tells hardware configuration, software installed, and updates. I'd compare it to the program Everest, but like the Free version.
