Hello everyone I am new to the forum. Not sure if this is the right place to ask this question. If I am in the wrong thread, much will be appreciated if you guys can tell me where the right thread is.

I have a older model asus laptop, s500ca. The laptop was booting up and loading very slow I decided to upgrade the HDD to a SSD. The installation wasn't that hard but after the installation I could not get my laptop to boot. It will loop back into BIOS every time I restart or leave BIOS. It does not give me any boot options. Has anyone ran into this problem? It is a Crucial SSD MX500

Did you clone it using Acronis/Macrium reflect?
Did you make sure old HDD isn't connected to the laptop to avoid confusion?

Did you check that your laptop is compatible with SSD drive? Also did you update your BIOS to the latest version before doing a SSD upgrade? Make sure your boot device is the SSD in the BIOS boot order.
