I've noticed that if you try to copy a Unicode URL from Firefox's address bar, e.g. http://www.example.com/文件.html, it gets escaped into something like http://www.example.com/=.html when you paste.

Is there a way to stop Firefox from doing this? It makes me look like an idiot who doesn't have the correct language packs installed on my computer when I try and send someone a URL.
