    Hi there

I don't know if anyone can help with this - I previously scanned a whole bunch of documents into Photoshop and they have been saved as psd files. Now my photoshop won't work on Vista and I can't afford to upgrade right now. I want to know if there is a way to convert them to jpg??

Btw I don't have an internet connection, so I can't use the online Photoshop thingy.

Umm only way I can think of is opening the .psd files in Photoshop and re-save them as something else like a .jpg.

You can dl a free trial version of the msot recent version (CS3) that should let you do that. I know you don't have an internet connection (but managed to post on here ) so if you can find one that you can download something to a USB memory stick then your sorted...

Also CS2 works in Vista, well it does on my notebook.

IrfanView is 100% free and can read PSD files: http://www.irfanview.com/

Haven't tried to save them to JPG though, but you should be fine.

...yeah, and you can always use GIMP (even on Windows) to read PSD and save it to pretty much anything: http://www.gimp.org/

    Hope this helps.

Thanks guys. I do manage to visit the library or a friend from time to time and post here (first place I visit) and also download stuff. So will give these a try. Thanks again.
