So, moreorless, I had my laptop with English Windows XP installed on it, but installed a Windows XP with another language as default (Korean, to be specific), however the newly installed Windows XP lags significantly compared to the previous installation. For example, it takes 5 seconds to open the image viewer and about 10 to 20 seconds opening the My Music folder, and about up to 5 minutes for it to read dvds. I have all the drivers on the newly installed OS that I did with the previous installation, and the new OS is updated with all the hotfixes and miscellaneous items from the Windows Update. If it helps, it is SP2.

Any ideas why this is occurring? Thank you in advance :)
