It was an issue with Comodo and Chrome. I updated Chrome and it started giving me errors with some .dll. Computer started rebooting after being on the desktop for 30 seconds.

Booted into safe mode and reinstalled Chrome. Then Chrome wouldn't work. So I had to mess with Comodo and allow it to make rules based on safe applications and now it's fine.

Hm. It just happened again. Maybe it's connected to Windows updating? Or some other conflict. Not really sure. It seems fine now.

Its never over until its really over..

Meanwhile, did you try uninstalling the last windows updates that you'd have done? And let the system run for a while and observe?

I'm unsure what's happening though. Working fine again... ran chkdsk and it's fine.

What do the event viewer logs say? Have you checked there?

For sure, there is an entry in there, regarding the reboot.. check again around the time of the last reboot and see if you find something...

Btw, did you install any new driver' recently? You could try reverting back to the previous versions of the driver and watch the system for a while.. just saying.

    Cheers

I have a system image I may just move to. Haven't installed any new drivers since catalyst 11.5.
