Hi, I am having a problem with Comodo Firewall running on Windows XP. Everytime I shut down the computer, an empty dialog box appears on the bottom right. I have it installed on three computers and it is only doing this on my laptop. The problem started while using the latest version 3.0. I have since installed version 2.4 and it does the same thing. The program works fine while the computer is in use. The problem only occurs while shut down or restart. It's a bit annoying. Any one come across this and know what's causing this? Thanks for your help!

Comodo and XP work well on my old eMachines desktop; I've never seen the dialog box you mention or experienced any other problems except occasionally when I forget to check the "remember" box.

Are the settings different on your laptop than on your other machines? Are you running a different AV? There are some glitches between a few AV/Firewall/Operating systems. Most issues I can remember reading about are with Vista, though.

I'm running Comodo with Avast AV. It works perfectly on my other machines. The settings are almost the same. I can't think of anything that could cause this. I am talking about the dialog box that appears everytime the firewall wants to tell you something, with the "remember" check box on the bottom. Everytime I restart the computer, that dialog box appears and its empty with just the headings.
