It just cropped up recently, but my clock has been showing the incorrect times, like it's ticks are slower than a regular clock. I would have to sync the clock everyday because it would be off sometimes by even 15 minutes. I am not sure if it has to do with the programs I am running but I haven't installed anything recently and this problem has only cropped up recently. I do have Konfabulator running with a digital clock widget up, perhaps this is the cause, but I am not sure. If any of you have had the same problem let me know, because it is just annoying to see that I am "late" for my class and me rushing to get ready when I was 10 minutes early.

    Thanks in advance

Perhaps there is a BIOS update to fix this.

My Bios is updated to the latest version already. I'm sure it is not the CMOS battery because this notebook was bought a few months ago, unless I got a bad one. I guess I'll try to remove the Konfabulator clock and see what happens. Too bad if it is the clock that is causing the problems, it defeats its purpose of it, if that is the case.

hmmm... well if it is konfab, you can try samurize, it does the same thing... i have it running with 4 clock "instances" running in the config with no problems.

Just wanted to let people know if they are having the same problem, that it is the widget that I was using, when I turned it off and sync'd my time, it was never off again. By the way the widget is called Digital Clock. I might give Samurize a try.
