Well, I have an Asus UL80vt. When I'm on the integrated graphics card, it automatically goes to 16 bit color for some reason. Transparency also gets turned off. This leaves me with the really annoying blue taskbar and window color. Is there anyway to change it without going to 32 bit color? Also, is there anyway to get it to default to 32?
Erh, also. I changed the highlight color, but things in the start menu are still blue when I go over them. Highlighted text and such is the new color. Help?

    Thanks

It's called Basic.. It's the theme when aero is off, and no there's no way of changing the colour except of getting a custom theme. Patch the uxtheme and get a theme.

    I may recommend this one:

Check if there are options with your switching app. You may also be able to leave Aero enabled at the expense of battery life. Even the Intel X3100 supports Aero, so anything new should do so fine.
