Is there any way I can change cursor sensitivity (cursor speed, not finger pressure) for the Synaptics touchpad without affecting a USB mouse?

The Synaptics driver doesn't offer any options. The OS is Win 8.

    Thanks.

Changing Windows mouse setting is not what I'm after, as the USB mouse sensitivity will change as well.

I'm running the latest Synaptics driver downloaded from Drivers | Synaptics. There's no cursor sensitivity setting.
